Tiffany is a visual artist, illustrator, and chronic doodler. She documents everyday happenings through an intimate sketchbook process that translates into narrative based work focused on labor, place, and belonging as it pertains to American identity. She is working on a series of experimental comics that confronts the mythology of the American Dream as an idea of opportunity and success. She works primarily with pencil, pen, ink, charcoal, and traditional printmaking methods.
Currently, Tiffany is an MFA candidate in the Illustration Practice program at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. She recently worked as a studio assistant at Printfresh, Deb Chaney Editions, and Parsons the New School for Design’s Printmaking department. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gender & Women Studies and Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to her artistic career, she served as a reproductive health counselor at a community health clinic in Oakland, CA.
Recent collaborative partners include Alameda County Public Health, Interrupt Magazine, the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance, and the Uni Project.
Tiffany is obsessed with noodle soup, biking, and not getting run over.
